The Mercy of God

The penalty of sin is death, but God’s love for us is so great He offered up His Son Jesus Christ as a penalty for our sin. The Bible says: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Jesus died on the cross in our place. But Jesus did not stay in the grave. He rose from the grave—proving that He alone has power over death and the darkness of our sin. Jesus further declared that He alone can restore us to God.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6).

God's mercy is freely available to those who choose to accept His free gift of salvation...
