National Fatherhood Initiative

National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI) aims to improve the well-being of children by connecting children and fathers, heart to heart.  Working with organizations and ministries across the country, NFI provides high-quality skill-building resources and curricula to educate fathers and strengthen families.

NFI_logo_250pxThrough its Corrections Programming, NFI works to reconnect inmate fathers with their families to reduce recidivism and end the intergenerational cycle of crime and incarceration. NFI's Corrections Programming includes:

InsideOut Dad.™ The premier fathers' reentry program, InsideOut Dad™ is standardized programming for state Departments of Corrections across the country and is changing lives in over 400 facilities nationwide.

InsideOut Dad™ Christian.  Developed in partnership with Prison Fellowship, this Biblically-based program reconnects families and introduces inmates to the transforming power of the Gospel.

Padre Adentro Y Afuera™. The Spanish-language version of InsideOut Dad,™ this program reaches the fastest growing group of incarcerated men with culturally relevant language and images.

COLLABORATING MINISTRIES

Prison Fellowship partners with dozens of Christian ministries and volunteers to help facilitate evangelistic events in prisons throughout the country. Musicians, performers, and speakers take the stage to share the hope of Christ. Volunteers mingle with prisoners, praying with them and offering encouragement.
