Desert Waters Correctional Outreach
DWCO maintains an anonymous phone and e-mail hotline, the "Corrections Ventline" that correctional staff and their families can use free of charge for confidential assistance and support.
Desert Waters Correctional Outreach desires to come alongside corrections professionals and join hands with them in fighting the good fight against crime behind the walls.
Our mission is to increase the occupational, personal, and family well-being of corrections (prison) and detention (jail) staff.
We aim to accomplish our mission by: (a) equipping staff with coping skills that foster workplace harmony, personal well-being, and family unity, and (b) providing them with a "safe place" to connect and to be heard through our Corrections Ventline, an anonymous 24/7 phone line and e-mail service for corrections and detention personnel and their loved ones.
We also offer trainings, counseling and consultations to help build staff resilience and solidarity with management, co-workers, and family members.
To date, there are no other organizations in the U.S. that serve corrections staff and their families in this manner.

COLLABORATING MINISTRIES
Prison Fellowship partners with dozens of Christian ministries and volunteers to help facilitate evangelistic events in prisons throughout the country. Musicians, performers, and speakers take the stage to share the hope of Christ. Volunteers mingle with prisoners, praying with them and offering encouragement.
