Success Story: Ron Burgess

Success Story: Ron Burgess

Throughout my youth I spent my time messing with drugs and at age 15 was sent to a youth center for 13 months. When I was 17, I received a five-year sentence from the Missouri Department of Corrections. I was released after servingtwo-and-a-half years.

Over the next several years I was in and out of prison for various offenses, until I finally ended up at the IFI program at Algoa.

So here I am, serving God with a fervent passion. I am 12 months into the 18-month program and my life has changed drastically. I really believe like Lazarus in John 11:43, Jesus has called me to come forth into a resurrected life. The changes have been so dramatic.

I want to thank the IFI staff, volunteers, mentors and supporters for this wonderful program. Because of IFI and what God has done in my life I am a changed life.
