Christmas Is No Time for a Prisoner's Child to Fall through the Cracks

But that's what could happen if we don't all pull together to serve prisoners' children who live in hard-to-reach areas.

Today more than 1.5 million children in the U.S. have a mom or dad in prison. Through no fault of their own, they have to suffer the loneliness, isolation, and shame that come from having a parent behind bars.

Every year Angel Tree, a ministry of Prison Fellowship, provides prisoners' children with Christmas gifts on behalf of their parent in prison. This Christmas, Angel Tree seeks to reach 400,000 children across the U.S. In most cases, these children will be served directly by churches in their own communities, which make a personal connection through home visits or church-sponsored Christmas parties.

But 50,000 of these children live in areas that cannot be matched with a local church. And we don't want them to miss out!

That's why we're asking you to help—by having your business sponsor some of these hard-to-reach children. Your donation will ensure that each child you sponsor is sent a carefully selected gift along with a personal message from the parent in prison, as well as a message from Angel Tree about the true meaning of Christmas.

Your business can brighten Christmas for innocent children and receive a tax benefit that helps your business as well!

Please visit AngelTree.org/ShareTheGift to personally choose the children that you will sponsor this Christmas. With your help, we can ensure that all of these precious children know that they have not been forgotten. Not by their mom or dad in prison. And not by us.
