Internship Opportunities

Welcome to our Internship Program!

Good fellowship, a professional working environment, and the joy of working in a Christian ministry make Prison Fellowship a great place for a college internship experience. Prison Fellowship's internship program offers an opportunity to apply academic experience in a Christian ministry environment, while structuring the internship to meet the student's academic requirements. Prison Fellowship's National Office in Virginia will offer internships that encompass a variety of fields of study including: Christian program management, criminal justice, hospitality, marketing, research and development, political science, information technology, and fund development. Two types of internships are available: 20-40 hours/week at $7.25 per hour and as well as various opportunities on a volunteer basis. Prison Fellowship is able to coordinate local housing for a limited number of out-of-town students.  Students also attend staff meetings, ministry gatherings, social activities, and meet with leaders from the various ministry divisions. Be sure to read our Program Guide (link available below) as well as our list of available open positions at our National Office in Lansdowne, VA.

To apply, please email your resume and cover letter to Meaghan Stoner at internresumes@pfm.org specifically expressing the positions of interest. Although email is preferred, if you do not have email you can fax to: 703-554-8609, Attn: Meaghan Stoner or mail to: Prison Fellowship, Internship Program, 44180 Riverside Parkway, Lansdowne, VA 20176.
