Programs Helping Prisoners Stay Clean

A new beginning in downtown Lansing and some new beginnings for people getting out of prison. Many former inmates, when they return to normal life, look for housing, jobs and a new life. That’s why local governments, social groups and religious organizations have come together to help them stay on the right path.

That’s why local governments, social groups and religious organizations have come together to help them stay on the right path. The programs are helping former prisoners stay out for life. When people get out of prison, they need the right resources to make that happen.


Mary Engle, Executive Director, Prison Fellowship: “The biggest issues are they can’t find employment or they may need assistance with transportation, medical needs is another big issue.”
