Countdown to Christmas: Deliver a Gift to an Angel Tree Child in Need

Deliver a Gift to an Angel Tree Child in Need

12/19 UPDATE: 0 CHILDREN STILL IN NEED

Thanks to the nearly 7,500 partners that committed to serve more than 300,000 kids this Christmas, all Angel Tree children have been assigned and registration is now closed for 2019.

THANK YOU!

There are still unassigned Angel Tree® children in the United States! We rely on local churches, groups, and individuals to share the joy of Christmas with the children of prisoners. While thousands of partners have already committed to serving 300,000 kids this year, more are needed. Can you help bring an Angel Tree Christmas to prisoners' children in your area?

"Angel Tree was such a blessing to my family. We received gifts for 10 years. More often than not, these were the only presents we received at Christmas."

HELP AN ANGEL TREE CHILD IN NEED

A program of Prison Fellowship®, Angel Tree serves incarcerated parents by providing a pathway for strengthening and restoring their relationships with their children and families.

"Angel Tree was such a blessing to my family," shares Kasey, a former recipient. "We received gifts for 10 years. More often than not, these were the only presents we received at Christmas."

Founded in 1982, Angel Tree is now the largest national program serving some of the 2.7 million children of prisoners. Each holiday season, local churches and community organizations give gifts to hundreds of thousands of children. They also include the Gospel message and a personal message of love on behalf of their incarcerated parent.

"One year, Angel Tree volunteers delivered the gifts like usual and left," recalls Kasey. "But then they came back with a Christmas tree. They looked around and really saw what the needs were. Pretty sure that was the best Christmas tree we ever had!"

GIVE THE GIFT OF CHRISTMAS JOY

Angel Tree may start with a gift, but your generosity will make a difference in your community and for an eternity. For Kasey, the volunteers who delivered their gifts were such a blessing. "They had so much joy," Kasey recalls. The volunteers piled "out of their vans with their Christmas hats and candy canes and [did] not bring judgment but a lot of joy—and Christmas joy."

Use our helpful map to determine how many kids are still unassigned in your local area. Data are updated frequently throughout the day. There will be some variance as children are constantly being matched with churches and groups to serve them.
