Columbus, OH—Prison Fellowship®, the nation’s largest Christian nonprofit serving prisoners, former prisoners, and their families, along with the Justice Action Network, is hosting the Road to Second Chances Prayer Walk in downtown Columbus on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Ohio Statehouse.  A reentry resource fair at the same location will take place immediately following the prayer walk at 12:00 p.m.

For too many who have served time behind bars, release from incarceration brings a new kind of prison: homelessness and poverty. Approximately 1 in 3 adults have a criminal record of arrest, conviction, or incarceration. They face up to 44,000 barriers to jobs, education, housing, and other foundations to a safe and productive life.

During the month of April, Prison Fellowship and over 800 churches, organizations, businesses, and passionate individuals around the country are unlocking brighter futures for approximately 70 million Americans living in the shadow of a criminal record.

Who:              Prison Fellowship with support from Justice Action Network

What:             Road to Second Chances Prayer Walk,
