August 15, 2025 by Prison Fellowship

SHELBY, Mont., Aug. 15, 2025 —Prison Fellowship®, the nation's largest Christian nonprofit serving currently and formerly incarcerated people and their families, hosted its first Prison Fellowship Grow graduation ceremony on Friday, Aug. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crossroads Correctional Center located in Shelby, Mont.

The ceremony was held in the visitation center and recognized 15 graduates who completed a yearlong program to develop and practice biblically based values that promote good citizenship, including community, affirmation, productivity, responsibility, restoration and integrity.

“It’s been a privilege to serve at the Crossroads Correctional Center and witness the incredible growth of these incarcerated men,” said Stephanie Taylor-Thompson, director of correctional programs for Prison Fellowship. “Over the last year, the graduates have worked diligently to learn, grow and be transformed by the curriculum and God’s redeeming power.”

Prison Fellowship is funded in Montana by the Gianforte Family Foundation and supported by partnerships with churches, volunteers, organizations, and agencies. The Grow program provides men and women behind bars with the opportunity to pursue human flourishing, specifically within the framework of the Christian faith.
