A surprising story of hope from a prison in Texas

God does beautiful work even in the darkest places.

At a recent Prison Fellowship® Hope Event, the men of the Billy Moore Correctional Center in Texas enjoyed a time of ministry and worship with volunteers from Concord Church in Dallas.

This short documentary brings you along for this special Hope Event® at the men's prison. What happened when the body of Christ showed up with open hands and hearts to minister? Those behind bars felt God’s blessing, and so did the volunteers who came to serve at the event. The Church outside encountered Christ together with the Church inside.

“My prayer this morning was that God would meet me here,” one volunteer shared. “And He absolutely did.”

The church showed up faithfully in this visit, and God moved powerfully. Take a look and see for yourself that through simple acts of presence, Christ meets us all in unexpected and surprising ways that lead to hope and restoration.
