two Justice Ambassadors in Washington DC to advocate for the safer supervision act

Prison Fellowship Justice Ambassadors advocate for legislative reforms that advance proportional punishment, constructive prison culture, and second chances.

In a recent visit to Capitol Hill, 42 Justice Ambassadors met with lawmakers to encourage passage of the Safer Supervision Act, a bill that would allow courts to decide who truly needs supervision following release from prison and who can return to their communities with fewer restrictions.

Currently, many men and women who finish their time in prison still face years of supervision, even if they have stayed out of trouble. The Safer Supervision Act would make the supervision process fairer and smarter.

Watch this short documentary to understand the impact of this bill for individuals, communities, and anyone who values fair and meaningful justice reform.
