With 40 years of experience helping restore men and women behind bars, Prison Fellowship advocates for federal and state criminal justice reforms that transform those responsible for crime, validate victims, and encourage communities to play a role in creating a safe, redemptive, and just society.

The State of Washington enacted HB 1553 in 2016 to ensure that returning neighbors can secure meaningful employment in a variety of industries in which he or she may be qualified by removing previous bars to state licenses. In 2017, sentencing reforms are expected to be addressed by the legislature.
