"This program has influenced me to think differently about my role as a warden and the impact prisons can have on our society. I am on fire to be a change agent in our department."
WARDEN, NEBRASKA

The Warden Exchange™ (WE) is a Prison Fellowship program empowering corrections professionals to create a legacy of safer prisons and safer communities. The Warden Exchange convenes thought leaders who exchange innovative ideas and best practices for the moral rehabilitation of the incarcerated. Together, we can create a prison culture conducive to restorative change and successful reentry.
SERVING WARDENS
Amazing! All supervisors should go through this training.
– Warden, WE Class of 2016
Using a variety of tools—business best-practices, cutting-edge technology, and revolutionary training approaches—wardens, deputy wardens, and associate wardens are equipped with knowledge and resources from throughout the field of corrections as they seek to become transformational leaders.
TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES
Today’s inmates are tomorrow’s neighbors.
– Warden, WE Class of 2016
Wardens who go through the Warden Exchange are ready to apply innovative approaches in order to impact and transform their facilities for more effective rehabilitation. As a result, prisoners can have greater access to programming and volunteers that equip, prepare, and support them to re-enter society and enrich their communities.
