Inspire the Church, change the culture, advance justice reform
Are you experienced in issue advocacy, looking to learn more, or interested in taking your Justice Advocate involvement a step further? Consider applying to be a Justice Ambassador to advocate for cultural change and legislative reforms that advance proportional punishment, constructive prison culture, and second chances. Justice Ambassadors are the select Justice Advocates in our network who are equipped by Prison Fellowship to:
- Develop relationships with lawmakers through calls, letters, and in-person meetings to encourage support for justice reforms. We need Justice Ambassadors from every state to advance our federal agenda and have twelve target states, where we work to advance state-level reforms.
- Write letters to the editor in your local paper reflecting Prison Fellowship’s views on justice issues.
- Utilize social media campaigns and online petitions to raise awareness and influence others.
- Facilitate discussion using Prison Fellowship's Outrageous Justice, a six-lesson curriculum designed to engage church small groups on topics of crime and incarceration.
- Host awareness-building events on campus, at church, or in your community.

WHAT IS JUSTICE THAT RESTORES?
A restorative approach to crime and incarceration recognizes the dignity and value of all human life. By promoting accountability for those responsible for crime, encouraging the participation of victims in the restorative process, and cultivating community engagement, justice is promoted and communities are restored.
