Returning Citizens Reentry Simulation

April 10 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

With Special Guest Congressman Elijah Cummings, Chairman, House Committee on Oversight and Reform

We are pleased to partner with The Office of the West Virginia Attorney General to provide a unique, interactive learning opportunity that will allow participants to experience first-hand the challenges and barriers that citizens returning from incarceration face in obtaining employment, housing, transportation, and educational opportunities.

This event will serve as an important, foundational experience for anyone wishing to engage in work advocating for justice-impacted individuals and communities, and it will serve as an opportunity for policymakers and advocates to share insights arising from the simulation experience and brainstorm the promotion of successful reentry skills and advocacy tools with justice-impacted individuals.
