JOIN US IN PRAYER
Prison Fellowship has been serving the Church on both sides of the prison walls for nearly 40 years–and during that time, we have seen God do amazing things through the prayers of His people on behalf of prisoners and their families.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join with a community of prayer warriors across the country who are praying intentionally for men and women behind bars, their families, communities, and the many ongoing events and activities that affect their lives.

For prisoners being released early due to the COVID-19 situation. May the Lord equip the families and communities receiving them with resources, provision and support.
Pray for family members and friends supporting loved ones who were recently released from prison.

We know that we are living in dark and tough times in this world, but we thank You Father that Your Kingdom is a Kingdom that is full of light, power, and peace that we can access even during difficult times. I pray that You position Godly people in the lives of the women and men being released. Let the people you place in their life plant your word into their hearts so they can grow in the faith and saving knowledge of who You are and make You their abiding place. I pray that all of their needs be met according to Your riches in glory. Father I also ask that You protect them and their families in Jesus name. Thank You.

“So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Lord God, I lift these returning citizens up to you now Lord, they carry with them many burdens, fears and uncertainty as they re-enter society. Many with the stigma that incarceration has left upon them. I pray you draw them to a confident peace that can only be found in you. Give them wisdom to see that you have a sovereign and incredible plan for them and you already know their way on the journey. I pray against the enemy who will try to put the focus on the difficulties, help them Lord Jesus to set their eyes on you alone. Surround them with people who will lift them up and encourage them to be accountable, repent of their sins and turn to you as Lord and Savior of their lives. Give their families courage, strength and hope because ” . . . . .In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen

O Lord, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear. Psalm 10:17 (ESV)

Heavenly Father, you know the concerns in our hearts. Right now we ask that you help every family, friend, and support system receiving your sons and daughters that may still have a broken soul or heart. Be in the midst of each and every one of them and strengthen them to take each day as a new beginning with hope to be redeemed in Christ. Keep them all safe from this virus Lord and safe from the temptations the enemy will present. There is nothing we cannot do and overcome when we welcome You in our heart Lord, help us make room for You! In Jesus name we pray, AMEN!
