JOIN US IN PRAYER
Prison Fellowship has been serving the Church on both sides of the prison walls for nearly 40 years–and during that time, we have seen God do amazing things through the prayers of His people on behalf of prisoners and their families.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join with a community of prayer warriors across the country who are praying intentionally for men and women behind bars, their families, communities, and the many ongoing events and activities that affect their lives.

For prisoners enrolled in classes or programs that have put on hold due to the virus. Pray that they will not feel discouraged and will keep holding strong to the Lord and what they have learned during this interim time.

Heavenly Father I ask that You will touch the men and women who are incarcerated who are trying to enrich their lives through programs designed to help them better themselves in life. I ask You to strengthen them and let them know they can still grow and be encouraged with other growth materials, books, and other resources until their programs become available for them to pursue again. We thank you that though their may be a delay it’s not a setback but a setup to be strengthen with patience, endurance and hope which are tools that will carry over into the programs they want to pursue. Thank you Father that our experiences are never wasted, but are kept and used as an anchor to help someone else when we overcome. Thank You Father that You know how to work every situation out for our good when we trust in You.

“I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire and the flame will not burn you.” Isaiah 43:2

Heavenly Father, Thank you for the tools, resources and countless volunteers who have put together and shared these programs of growth and enrichment with prisoners. I thank you for the prisoners themselves who have chosen to rebuild their lives in you. In these days of uncertainty we are surrounded by things that are out of our control, circumstances, economy, pandemics, etc. While all these things are changing, moving and shaking, we know that You are not. I pray that these incarcerated individuals who have committed time and effort in these classes continue to be uplifted and sustained by Your mercy and love. Protect their minds and hearts from the enemy who will want to discourage them, cause doubt and fear. You are still on the throne, You are still in control and You still know the needs of each and every individual person. We may not understand why things happen or how You are working but Your Word is truth and it tells us “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8. Help these individuals to hold to Faith and Trust in You. “I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH HIM WHO STRENGTHENS ME.” Philippians 4:12-13 Thank you Jesus, in your name I pray, Amen
