JOIN US IN PRAYER
Prison Fellowship has been serving the Church on both sides of the prison walls for nearly 40 years–and during that time, we have seen God do amazing things through the prayers of His people on behalf of prisoners and their families.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join with a community of prayer warriors across the country who are praying intentionally for men and women behind bars, their families, communities, and the many ongoing events and activities that affect their lives.

I need a second:. Father God, in Jesus name, open all concerned with Varner Unit Prison, in Arkansas. Pray for eyes of understanding, remove them from the kingdom of darkness and embrace them into your marvelous Kingdom of Light, empower them to live quiet, humane lives while awaiting their sentence completion and new accommodation elsewhere. Teach them your ways, to sing to you in the darkness and praise your name, knowing you are their redemption from eternal prison. Amen and amen. And ALL God’s people said – amen

Dear Lord Jesus. You are the God of second chances and your heart is always to have mercy. Please forgive us our sins and become our hope for tomorrow. Stay our heart and thoughts on your Kingdom and give us peace which passes all understanding no matter where we are or in what frame of mind we may be. Please visit us with your Holy Spirit and calm our troubled minds with your reassurance that your love is more powerful than anything we could put in its place. Be our guide and our good shepherd please. Thank you.

Dear Lord You alone can shine the light of forgiveness into any abyss. No matter how hopeless and helpless we may feel You are always there. You know our needs better than we know them, You know our hopes even when we can not speak them and You know the time when the answer to our prayers is perfect. Grant us wisdom, peace of heart and forbearance as we await Your perfect time.

Dear Lord, I pray for your light and your word to shine on and shine into the Varner Unit Prison. May your light open doors to goodness, to mercy and grace, to healing and forgiveness, compassion and strength. Please Lord, I pray they all feel the warmth of your love and protection, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

    Genesis 1:2-4 NKJV
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

    John 1:1-5 NKJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

O God, Almighty God, may this be the Light to shine in Varner Unit Prison. AMEN

Abba Father, thank you for sending Your Son to set the captives free! We decree and declare this day that the prisoners will be released from the chains of sin, self and flesh, evil worldly and cultural influences, occult and witchcraft in bloodlines, toxic relationships and any and all idolatry and addictions. We declare that portals to the demonic be closed, that the door to Your radiant light and new life be opened, that Your invitation be accepted, to come..and be made whole, that they just grab onto the hope of Christ, and hold on tight, in the holy, healing name Of Yeshua Hamashiach.

Father, we give thanks to you for Your loving kindness and grace towards us. We come humbly before You asking that You would shine Your great light upon Varner Unit Prison, and expose any darkness so that a change for righteousness can take place. Open the hearts of all involved there so they may receive wisdom, knowledge and understanding of who You are and what You’ve done in Yeshua’s name we pray. Thank You.

God, keep Constance and her loved ones in your care. You know her struggles. There are few words that can describe Your power. All we really need to say to You: I CAN’T. You CAN. In Your name we pray. Amen

Psalm 25:4-10 Show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long. Remember, Lord, Your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to Your love remember me, for You, Lord, are good. Good and upright is the Lord; therefore, He instructs sinners in His ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way. All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of His covenant.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ our Savior and Redeemer, I pray for Constance; all concerned with Varner Unit Prison, in Arkansas; and the victims and their families. Amen
