Pray that I stay in the right path with Jesus in my life. Thank you God!
September 17, 2022 at 2:14 am #98007JuliaParticipantJesus, you washed Richard clean. You have always loved him and he receives your love. Please help him stay continuously in your presence. Even when he faces evil, temptations, and challenges, You Jesus are greater than it all and died so we could be free from it all. Lord you hold the victory to the battles we face, help us trust in You. We lay all troubles at Your feet and praise You. Richard is a beloved Child of the Most High. He is saved by grace through faith, I pray he remembers this always! May your will be done in Richard’s life,
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On Earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who have sinned against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory now and forever. Amen.” The LORD will fight for you: you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
” As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive in Christ when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and it is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves ” the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)- were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Isreal and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but a fellow citizen with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. ” Ephesians 2
December 10, 2023 at 9:57 pm #101644DallasParticipantIsaiah 53:1-12 But, oh, how few believe it! Who will listen? To whom will God reveal His (Jesus Christ’s) saving power? In God’s eyes He was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes, there was no attractiveness at all, nothing to make us want Him. We despised Him and rejected Him—a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on Him and looked the other way when He went by. He was despised, and we didn’t care. Yet it was our grief He bore, our sorrows that weighed Him down. And we thought His troubles were a punishment from God, for His own sins! But He was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; He was lashed—and we were healed! We—every one of us—have strayed away like sheep! We, who left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet God laid on Him the guilt and sins of every one of us! He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He never said a word. He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth before the ones condemning Him. From prison and trial, they led Him away to His death. But who among the people of that day realized it was their sins that He was dying for—that He was suffering their punishment? He was buried like a criminal, but in a rich man’s grave; but He had done no wrong and had never spoken an evil word. But it was the Lord’s good plan to bruise Him and fill Him with grief. However, when His soul has been made an offering for sin, then He shall have a multitude of children, many heirs. He shall live again, and God’s program shall prosper in His hands. And when He sees all that is accomplished by the anguish of His soul, He shall be satisfied; and because of what He has experienced, my righteous Servant shall make many to be counted righteous before God, for He shall bear all their sins. Therefore, I will give Him the honors of one who is mighty and great because He has poured out His soul unto death. He was counted as a sinner, and He bore the sins of many, and He pled with God for sinners.
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, I pray for Richard and his family. I also pray for any victim(s) and their families. I pray they will read daily the Upper Room, where the world meets to pray. It is also online. Amen

May 2, 2024 at 10:07 pm #102580ChristianParticipantGod bless you Brother!
Satan is the enemy of our soul.
He disguises poison and death in fleeting pleasure.
Nothing this world has to offer that would pull us away from God
Is worth it.
I think of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross making a spectacle out of the kingdom of darkness
And disarming the powers and principalities.
And we as the children of God are overcomers through the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
You are an overcomer Richard.
You have been redeemed.
You were adopted by God and he isn’t going to change his mind.
I pray in the name of Jesus
That the God of peace would crush Satan beneath your feet.
I pray that His Spirit would rise up in you to trample on the enemy in faith and gentleness.
And I pray that the Lord would deliver you from all temptation.
AmenMay 6, 2024 at 9:34 am #102592JoshuaParticipantYou are in my prayers Richard!

July 24, 2024 at 7:46 pm #103111GarrettParticipantLord, we ask you that you lift Richard up in spirits. Let him know that through you ,peace ispossible throughout any situation. You love us all so much. As long as we give you that love back in return we can know you, come closer to you and have an eternal life in your kingdom. Like Jesus said in one of the passages from Luke chapter 15 “Doesn’t he leave the 99 in the open country to go after the one until he finds it. And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and takes him home. He calls his friends and neighbors and says rejoice with me for I found my lost sheep. In the same way there will be more rejoice in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who need not to.” Lord, we thank you for your grace your forgiveness your mercy, and your love for each and every one of your children. In Jesus name, amen.
