My husband had his sentencing court date yesterday. We live in Iowa. Not sure yet which prision he will be at. Will be self surrender. We are self employed farmers. Have 4 children ages 16, 13, 11 and 2. White collar crime, potential 33 months, hoping for 6 month prision time then move to halfway house close to home.
Greetings Trisha, I hope you are doing well despite this stressful time in your life. I pray not only that God is with you but with your family, I pray that he is with you as you stand by your Husband during this period. I pray that God walks with your husband as he faces his time in Prison and guides him to be both safe and to come out a even better father and leader of your home. I pray that God is with your children who might or might not fully understand why their Father is going away. Finally, I pray that the Lord puts a merciful heart upon the those in charge of his service time. So he can hopefully be out sooner and be with you all again, Grace and Peace upon you.
