The Powerful Love of Moms Behind Bars

Prison bars can’t contain a mother’s love. The moms at Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center in Idaho know this very well.

For mothers behind bars, to be separated from their children is to live with the sadness and pain of missed birthdays, holidays, and other milestones.

At a recent Prison Fellowship® event, incarcerated moms and their kids were brought together for a healing, joyous—and fun—visit that positively impacted these families.

Watch the video below to see a grandmother meet her grandkids for the first time and to hear moms dream of brighter futures with their sons and daughters.

God was at work in their lives restoring relationships and families. And no matter your situation, know that He cares for you and is moving on your behalf, too.
