ADVOCATE FOR JUSTICE THAT RESTORES

If you share our vision for a justice system that restores all those impacted by crime and incarceration, please join our growing network of advocates. Together we can inspire the Church, change the culture, and advance justice reform.

TAKE ACTION

With 40 years of experience helping restore men and women behind bars, Prison Fellowship advocates for federal and state criminal justice reforms that transform those responsible for crime, validate victims, and encourage communities to play a role in creating a safe, redemptive, and just society.

Between 2014 and 2015, Mississippi reduced its prison population more than any state in the country after passing a major criminal justice reform bill in 2014. In an effort to build upon this success, the state enacted further reforms in 2016 that reduced sentences for certain nonviolent drug crimes by amending the rules for parole eligibility.

PRISON FELLOWSHIP IN MISSISSIPPI

In 2018, Prison Fellowship advocated for proportional punishment in Mississippi through the adoption of House Bill 387. This legislation sought to increase public safety by ensuring that taxpayer dollars are spent to incarcerate individuals who pose the greatest risk to society.
