Last Sunday, a team of PF staff and supporters took part in the Spartan Race in Leesburg, Virginia. As the pictures below might indicate, the Spartan Race is not your average 10k race. Participants are challenged with a number of obstacles and challenges, making completion of the 8-9 mile course a little more difficult, and a lot messier.
Why would seemingly normal individuals subject themselves to such punishment? Well, in the case of PF Racing team members, the chance to help provide school supplies to children with one or both of their parents in prison, along with an age-appropriate presentation of the Gospel.
So far, over $1,000 has been raised to help these children and their families, but there is still time to increase that number.
