As we close the page on this year, we wanted to take one last moment to celebrate all that 2016 stood for—40 years of redemption, transformation, and hope in the lives of millions of broken and lost individuals all across the country.
This video looks back on some of the highlights of Prison Fellowship’s four-decades-long history and how friends like you helped play a role in restoring countless lives impacted by crime and incarceration.
In the 40 years since Charles Colson founded Prison Fellowship, we have delivered more than 10 million Christmas gifts to children on behalf of their incarcerated parents.
We have helped make our criminal justice system fairer and more restorative through the passing of legislation like the Prison Rape and Elimination Act (2003) and the Second Chance Act (2007).
And through in-prison Bible studies, evangelism efforts, intensive reentry training and discipleship, we have seen countless men and women restored to their families, communities, and God through the amazing power of Jesus Christ.
So, from all of us at Prison Fellowship, thank you for sharing with us in 40 years of hope.
