Every year, Angel Tree Camping™ scholarships provide a way for thousands of children of prisoners to go to Christian summer camps, where they have the opportunity to have fun, fellowship with their peers, build relationships with caring camp counselors, and experience the love of God in the great outdoors. Here are some stories we’ve received recently from thankful participants of Angel Tree Camping.
Hello Kingdom Family,
Thank you for your awesome stewardship and servanthood towards my children! They had an amazing time … [they] wrote to me and I could feel their joy through their words. I also want to express my gratitude for you, Angel Tree, for being faithful towards my family—my kids and their father. The pictures, letters, kindness, and gifts throughout these past five years have been breathtaking. I thank Jesus every day and praise Him for being our example to follow. My kids and I are eternally grateful. Keep bringing the Kingdom family. And to Camp Michewana, I can’t wait to come join the fun for the women’s retreats and family camp! I wish more families could be afforded this opportunity. But that is what it’s about—helping those we can and praying for those we can’t.
In Christ,
T., Angel Tree mom
Thank you for helping me come to camp! What I learned about God is that He died for our sins. My favorite activity to do at camp is that I love to swim in the pool. This is my fourth year at camp! Thank you!!!!!

Dear donors, thank you for paying for us to be here. We are having a bunch of fun with all the activities, like the water games, the pool, the horse riding … there are a lot more activities. I am thankful for you.

I want to tell you thank you for doing this for me, and you don’t even know me. That is sweet. I love the different activities we get to do. It is so much fun and I want to stay for a month. Also, the food is AMAZING. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dear God, I just thank and praise you. You died for our sins, and You’re the one who brought me to this earth. Even though my mom has three kids, you still give her the strength to do her best, even though she is by herself. God, can you let my dad know that we need him? I ask for you to tell him to come home. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
