Remembering Chuck

October 16, 2012 by Steve Rempe

Today would have been Chuck Colson’s 81st birthday.  The former White House special counsel and founder of Prison Fellowship passed away earlier this year, but his legacy and vision for reaching prisoners and their families with the Good News of Jesus Christ continues.

In his regular BreakPoint commentary today, Eric Metaxas offers his reflections on Chuck’s life and how Chuck impacted his life as a young Christian writer.  He specifically recommends two of Chuck’s books – Loving God and God and Government– as vital in helping him develop a comprehensive Christian worldview.

How has Chuck impacted your life or the life of your family?  Has Prison Fellowship made a difference in the lives of those close to you?  Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.  And please keep Chuck’s widow Patty and the Colson family in your prayers as they continue to adjust to life after Chuck’s passing.
