Represent Justice, Prison Fellowship®, Plus One Society, and the Cleveland Cavaliers partnered to shine a light on the hope and redemption found inside an Ohio prison.
The Cleveland Cavaliers joined with Prison Fellowship® and others to shine a light on the hope and redemption found inside Grafton Correctional Institution in Ohio. Incarcerated individuals, returning citizens, policymakers, and current and former NBA players and coaches all came together for a roundtable conversation and basketball game to Play for Justice.
"When we talk about people that are incarcerated, they're human beings. They're a part of our country. They're part of the fabric of this nation. So lifting them up and giving them an opportunity to share their stories and their hopes and dreams, this is what changing a system that's broken looks like."
—Sam Lewis, The Anti-Recidivism Coalition
"You guys are loved, and you're not forgotten. The things that you're doing—the mindset that you have, that you're going to do better, you're going to help people—I look up to you guys."
—Antonio Lang, Cleveland Cavaliers
