Dear Lord , Please give your child Kevin the wonderful gifts of Your Holy Spirit. Let him have Wisdom, Right Judgement, Fortitude, Perseverance and Fear of the Lord. Let him engulf himself in the Holy Scriptures and recognize the only perfect thing in this world is God’s Merciful Forgiveness. Let the words of Jesus to his Apostles touch Kevin’s heart as well. Jesus dined with tax collectors and sinners because we are those He came to heal. Please Lord place people in Kevin’s path that will enrich his life also place people in his path that Kevin can enrich. Amen

Dear heavenly father, we ask that you hear Kevin’s prayer, as we join him in many places of the world. We know you hear our prayers because the bible tells us where 2 or more are gathered in your name, your holy spirit is there also. Please bless Kevin for seeking your will for his life first. Please provide him with your leading and spiritual discernment as he navigates life and desires to become the man you have planned for him. We know you can do great things for those who open their hearts to your will instead of their own Lord and we know great things will be done in Kevin’s life and in others’ lives as you work through him in the future. Christ didn’t say the way is easy, but following it is worth it! Try using breathe prayers. I use short ones like “Jesus, You are my Rock!” I will be praying.

And the word of the Lord came to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?” He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ our Savior and Redeemer, I pray for Kevin, his family, and for any victim(s) and their families. If they are not already doing so, I pray they will daily read “A Daybook of Grace – a year of devotions to draw you near to the Heart of God.”

Heavenly Father, bless Kevin on his journey to know You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit to guide him, correct him, bless him, and comfort him with Your shalom peace. Only You are truly perfect, but help even and all of us to be the best imitators of You that we can be, even in our fallible humanity. I pray that he remembers to ” Look to the Lord and His strength, Seek His Face Always.” I pray that he allows nothing to hinder the joy and peace you bring to his life. I pray that Kevin knows that his faith journey will help him in his darkest days and ultimately he will be free. May Kevin always know that he is loved. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Father God, I praise you for the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of Kevin. That he desires to draw near to you and honor you with his life. I pray Father for boldness for Kevin to walk obediently wherever you lead. I pray you continually remind him that he is A NEW CREATION. What was has passed away and you are doing a new thing. We pray in the mighty name of Jesus that every stronghold that would keep Kevin from every good work you planned for him, will be broken. Our weapons are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. Thank you for the truth of your Word. God knows your heart, and I will remember you in my prayers tonight. Read the Bible every day and pray every day, those are the best ways to have a closer relationship to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as well as the Father. You’re now on the correct path and while it won’t be easy, I know that in trusting Christ and God you will be led to where the Father wants you.

We thank you for this day and we thank you for Kevin and the fire inside of him that’s bringing him closer to You. You’re doing an awesome work inside of him, and his faith also encourages us to be more like you too! We pray that you continue to guide Kevin through scripture, prayer, and good counsel.

We also pray for protection from any seen or unseen evils that attempt to attack Kevin. Give him peace knowing that he is on right path, on the Lord’s side. I pray for Kevin, his family, and the prayer warriors to continue to obey Gods commands and to do what’s right.
