ParticipantJames, God Bless You! May God honor your request for prayers as you transition out. I pray that you would be sensitive to the voice of God, that you would hear his direction and receive his wisdom as to where you will live, where you will work, and who you will spend time with. What God wants doesn’t always line up with what we want but if we trust Him and yield to His will it will work out for our best good!

ParticipantDear Lord Please continue to be with James as he transitions to his new life on the outside. Help him to find a faith community that will support him as he strives to make a different life for himself and his family. Grant all of the people in his life the perseverance and fortitude to walk with him. Jesus knows the struggle but He also knew the importance of getting up when you fall. Bless James and all who love him daily, let your army of angels protect him from those who wish to cause him to stray. Amen

ParticipantMark 4-5 The Parable of the Sower. Again, Jesus began to teach by the lake. The crowd that gathered around Him was so large that He got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake, while all the people were along the shore at the water’s edge. He taught them many things by parables, and in His teaching said: “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.” Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” When He was alone, the Twelve and the others around Him asked Him about the parables. He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, “‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise, they might turn and be forgiven!’” Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable? The farmer sows the word. Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown.”
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, I pray for James, his family, and for any victim(s) and their families. I pray they will always read the Bible every year in chronological order. Amen

ParticipantDear Lord Please continue to hold James and his family in your hands as he navigates life on the outside. Sometimes release date is like the long awaited Christmas present that just doesn’t fit quite right when it arrives. Help James be patient while You in Your Infinite Mercy and love show James the path that will give him true peace and joy in this world and the next. Let him understand that life is not about what we are going through but what we are going to. Lord bless James with productive days and restful nights. Amen

ParticipantJames this is my first prayer request and it’s no coincidence I clicked on yours. I just woke up in the middle of the night. Full of anxiety and despair, I prayed (& thanked) the LORD for giving more hope, faith, and peace as I was confident He would. I then “coincidentally” read James 5:16 –
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
After this I felt compelled to join the prayer team as I have, before my very eyes, seen Him answer prayers.
I myself have been constantly praying for patience and guidance. I will be doing the same for you and ask you if you could please do the same for me! Hang in there man. You’re almost at the finish line.August 3, 2024 at 4:35 pm #103193Analupe
ParticipantLifting you up dear brother, to his throne of grace. Dear Lord, hear our hearts, hear our prayers, Amen.

ParticipantHi James,
I am praying to YHWH that you can find peace and direction in your reentry to society. I know it can be very tough. Pray to the Lord, he will not fix all of your problems but he will give you strength and comfort to get through them. I am praying for you.PS I don’t know if they have something called in and out reentry when you get home . If they do, contact them. They help with housing, resumes, job searches, group meetings and more.
